April 25 marks RMS Day (Republic of South Maluku). Each year, the Moluccan people come together to honor and remember the proclamation of the RMS. On April 25, 1950, in Ambon, the Republic of South Maluku was declared - a moment filled with hope, courage, and a deep longing for freedom.

To this day, the RMS lives on in the hearts of its people, representing an enduring struggle for independence, identity, and justice.
